Just kind of like "well developers are used to making old versions of games unavailable through patches, so they probably don't think anything of it when they remove a non-enhanced version from sale". I feel like I must have done something horrible with my wording, because I wasn't trying to say anything argumentative or controversial. I was just trying to demonstrate that older versions of a game becoming unavailable is common with patches, so it happening with enhanced editions could be seen as an extension of that. My original post here was in response to someone saying that they didn't understand why a new version meant the old version was no longer sold. I think it would be best if all enhanced editions did come with the original version as an extra.
